July 18, 2010-Ray Alexander announces the launching of his new website www.RAMF80.com!
Ray began the season in a Crate Late Model, but decided to get back to his roots, and is now racing a Shaw By Outlaw Open Wheel Modified. Ray has enjoyed quite a bit of early success in the new car, notching 9 starts, 1 feature win, and 8 Top 5's.
Ray started off this past weekend at Corinth Speedway. 22 cars signed in for $1000 to win 30 lap event. After qualifying in the 5th starting position, Ray was able to battle his way to a 3rd place finish. The team then loaded up and headed to North Alabama Speedway where Ray notched a 2nd place finish in both his heat race, and in the feature, following a door to door battle with teammate T.J. Hearndon on the final lap of the feature.
Ray gave his thoughts on the weekend. "We had a great weekend." said Ray Alexander. "I wish we could have got a win but running against the talent we been running against lately and having consecutive top 5's, i think we're heading in the right direction. Thanks to all the fans that come out every week, even though times are tough right now its good to see everyone come support all the tracks."
Ray and his team will head to North Alabama Speedway and Columbus Speedway this weekend for racing action!
